Dave’s Weekly Market Update for 02/14/25

Eggs:
Eggs continue to rise, and it is headlining the news almost every day. The further processed eggs are screaming upwards once again. They lagged behind the shell eggs, but they are now catching up. The HPAI continues to spread and now we are hearing that this situation (and high prices) could continue for the next year. There just are not enough birds out there to repopulate the farms that were decimated.
Butter:
The butter market was active this week with 51 loads changing hands so far this week. It bounced around this week, and we are dropping our prices for you for next week.
Cheese:
Once again, the markets have turned upwards with only a few loads changing hands. I do not feel the markets should be this high at this time of year but that might change again next week.
